This job was undertaken a couple of weeks ago, it was to be a 1 coat system however after speaking with the product representative it was decided to use a 2 coat system due to the type of blocks used in the construction as this would reduce the risk of cracking problems at a later date.
We therefore followed the manufactures instructions to the letter and photographed every step for the customers records.
This job was carried out using a Parex Monorex System to include in the first coat a latex addative Lankolatex Admixture for key coat preparation to one coat renders, bonding and waterproofing for all renders Algirex Liquid agent to control the suction in the blocks.
We then embedded TV10 mesh into the first coat around all windows and doors, also as an extra precaution we applied the mesh to any small cracks in the existing blockwork.
